Bear Sanctuary was narrated by film, television and stage star Kenneth Cranham, who visited Music 4 Studios to record his narration. The final mixes were also undertaken by our engineers.
Bear Sanctuary is the story of captive bears in Romania living in terrible conditions. The programmes show how they are given hope and freedom by the bear sanctuary in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains.
We are delighted to enhance our Discovery portfolio with this great show, which aired for the first time on Nov 27th (Animal Planet).

Don't worry...we haven't started flogging DVD's but we can highly recommend Faithless Live in Moscow, Bill Bailey's Tinselworm and Tim Minchin’s “So F**king Rock Live”... not only are they all fab, they were all mixed by Music 4 Studios!
Faithless returned to Russia after a 4 year hiatus to perform for the 1st time with a full orchestra. We received the multi-track recordings which includes famous hits such as Insomnia, God is a DJ, Mass Destruction, I Want More and We Come 1 and created the final mix for the 5.1 DVD release, “Faithless Live in Moscow”. Sister Bliss from the band attended many of the mixing sessions and was delighted with the results.
Bill Bailey's 'Tinselworm' was the inaugural 5.1 project mixed in our newest studio (Studio 2) and this was quickly followed by a 5.1 mix for Australian musician, actor, comedian and writer Tim Minchin for his latest DVD release, “So F**king Rock Live”. We also created the stereo mix for international television broadcast.
(Be warned...the Tim Minchin DVD contains very strong language and is not for the easily offended!)

Music 4 Studios were chosen to record, mix and dub audio for a number of inserts featured on the ultra cool 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards.
Prior to the live event held in Liverpool on 6th November, Trevor Nelson visited our studios to voice a series of nomination inserts for the main show. We then created the final mix and dub of the finished inserts to a tight deadline including the intro video for Paul McCartney who picked up the ultimate legend prize.
Hosted by Katy Perry, the MTV Europe Music Awards is Europe's biggest music awards show with live performances and winners that are chosen by the public.The awards were broadcast live on MTV Europe, MTV and most of the international MTV channels as well as online.

The UK's biggest girl band, Girls Aloud, are currently promoting their 5th studio album “Out of Control” and Nadine from the band spent an afternoon at Music 4 Studios to talk about the project via ISDN interviews to a number of local and regional radio stations.
Nadine joins fellow band members Kimberley and Cheryl in our ever growing guest book (they visited us back in August 2007). We just need a visit from Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts to complete our Girls Aloud collection!
As always, Nadine received 100% star treatment and enjoyed her time at Music 4 Studios.

It's been a good few days for 'star spotting' here at Music 4 Studios with visits from Enrique Inglesias, Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) and Brit Award winning Adele.
Enrique Inglesias made a return visit to Music 4 to promote his new “Greatest Hits” album due for release November 17th. Enrique undertook several ISDN interviews to regional radio stations as well as face-to-face interviews. Both Enrique and his entourage had fun on our Nintendo Wii afterwards!
Actress and singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) also came into the studios this week to promote her newly released album “Breakout”. Miley Cyrus has been nominated for Best New Act at the forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards on November 6th (co-incidentally, we recently mixed nomination packages for this MTV show, news to follow shortly). She has our vote! Unfortunately though, we didn't manage to grab a picture for our guest gallery. Maybe next time!
We were also delighted to welcome back Brit Award winner Adele for her third visit to promote her new single “Make You Feel My Love”. Adele performed a number of songs from her number 1 platinum selling album “19”. We set our vocal booth up to accommodate Adele on vocals alongside her guitarist and pianist.
After mixing the tracks on our fab SSL mixing console, we then continued with ISDN and face-to-face interviews in conjunction with delivering the recorded tracks to various radio stations. We were delighted to receive great feedback from the record company and radio stations for the overall sound and mix on her tracks and we look forward to recording more performances here at Berners Street.
